So you’ve been studying for awhile now. Exams come, and you don’t do as well as you want to. Or maybe your grades are ‘okay’ grades, but you want to aim a little higher; be outstanding.
It’s really frustrating when you feel you put in a lot of effort into studying, revising, only to get average, or below average results, right? If this is where you’re at right now, I believe it’s time to make a new game plan. After all, insanity has been said to be doing something over and over again, yet expecting different results.
So yeah, you need to rethink your strategy. Lucky for you, you landed here; where we help you out a little, with ideas on how to improve things.
There are a number of suggestions, and they work for different people. You’ll need to find what works for you, and gives you the results you want.
Before we delve into the list of Do’s and Don’ts, we have to get on the same page about one thing; being in the right state of mind. You need to (a) be serious about wanting to do better and (b) realise that you’re going to have to work for it. Be willing to learn, and try out the suggestions given here.
A little advance notice; this will not be easy. Excelling at school ( or anywhere really) is not for the faint hearted, so brace yourself.
There is no ‘key’ to succeeding at this, because there isn’t only one door you’ll have to pass through. It’s like a dish with many ingredients; kinda like lasagne.
To get the most out of this; be open minded, and try not to be too sceptical when trying out methods. Don’t worry if you don’t see results immediately; be patient with yourself.
